I like the jack mounted on the right inner fender. Any thoughts on where it came from.

Hole is for access to the top rear fender bolt, not all trucks had the cover. I think just the later years custom cab.

Just to add some worthless information, that cargo light started as a backup light on a 64 thunderbird.

If you think about it, that is 2 layers of metal, why would you let water get between them before stopping it so put on the outside.

Just look at any 70's truck. I used 460,c6, and column from 79 and didn't have to adjust linkage, it fit so well. Just moved from one truck to the other.

Steering column spaced below dash, 64 or earlier. I would want to see vin on frame, not door or glove box.

4x4 frame still 34 wide at back, 2 wheel drive went to 37 wide in 1973. probably shorten from 133"

The driver looks like a young Bill France (nascar), and I think he was from that area.

Tapered cut on sides, maybe 1/2" at top to none at bottom. I am guessing but that is what I would try.

There are two sets of hole in frame for perches 352 used one set 6 cyl used the other.

The 4 center holes will line up, cut 6 inches off rear of frame and drill for the hidden bolt, I don't remember if I drilled the front hole but I think it lined up too. add 14 inches to the cab, and you will have a sister to my truck. If you would like a little more room use a later 133" wheelb...
