I use one of the hand held ball joint press for u-joints. Really fast with an impact wrench. Cheap at Harbor Freight or can be borrowed from Autozone.

I removed an optional auxillary tank from a 72 F100 years ago with the intent of putting it on my truck. After the 73-80 Chebby trucks blowing up fiasco, have cooled my idea of using it. Ford brought it up through the bed with a angled cover for the in the bed. 73-79 trucks had an optional side tank...

I have done a few of these IFS swaps. They are sooooo much better than the Camaro clip in my 56 panel truck. Hey, it weas cheap and popular at the time. The Volare' has been a standard for years and there is some aftermarket support out there. No Limit used to sell a video for the Volare' install on...

LMAO while reflecting on events from Slick Stock, I am still questioning my sanity of riding in a rental car with a driver used to driving on the other side of the car. Was comforted when he drove the roundy-round going counter-clockwise.

RodDoors uses velcro to attach their interior panels and headliners. I have seen high-end rod shops use the same method.

The 67-72 trucks, 69-74 van, and 66-77 Broncos all used the same taillights. Ford is famous for recycling such parts. The 59-64 truck front turn signals were also used as turn signals on 69-74 vans. The 57-63 round truck taillights are the same as the 61-67 vans (except the extended Supervans which ...

A friend of mine that has had several trucks featured in magazines showed me a neat trick. He was paintting his 53 panel truck a green with lots of silver in it. Silver is the toughest color to match. He painted each part and then assembled it. For the final coat, he rented a spray booth at the loca...

LOL, Tom, not sure which way you are going. First complaining that steel will not be worth anything once all the C4C cars get crushed but also whining about all the cars crushed last year when steel was so high. All just part of our "throw away" society.
