thank you all for your input. the two uni's posted above aren't running, they are listed as projects. I scan the 4sale ads here, as well as craigslist, and epay, but I'm also not in a super rush to get something, just to store it all winter.
Thanks again, and happy motoring

When I went back to look at the truck a second time the guy decided not to sell it. He said he didn't want to part with it. I only had $1500 and up here, 90% of trucks are up in the $2500 range or in the $200 range and need $2000 worth of work and need to be towed. I didn't have either of these. So ...

Well i committed the ultimate sin (in some eyes). I found a really nice 1983 Chevy Suburban. Lots of repairs already done, new inspection sticker, and a 350 4bbl ready to roll. $1500 and a good deal my Maine standards.

we rented a PT Cruiser not long ago and that was a pretty good car. Good gas, plenty of size for a kid or two and groceries.
My wife liked it a lot and you can get them off ebay everyday for $5-7,000 Typically a 2001-2004 with 50-90k miles will get you a nice one in that range.

I'm looking at buying an 86 F150 2wd basic long bed truck. it has a 300 (4.9l) 4 speed manual. Are there major trouble spots I should keep my eyes out for when i go to look at it? this is the listing m It looks like all the right things have been replaced but I'd like some real experience with these...

I always like the idea on an integrated seat belt. 90's Benz, 2001 Chevrolet TrailBlazer, 2001 Oldsmobile Bravada and 2001 GMC Envoy, 1998 Chevy Silverado. If you can beef up the mounting of these seats, it would provide safety without mounting it to the pillars. here is a resto of a 69 chev k20 wit...

where else could two people close in proximity meet for the first time...the slick net

I have a NOS never used headliner piece that houses the dome light from a 65/66. I could trace it on a large piece of paper or something? I'd sell it but shipping would be way too much hassle.

Greetings, again

Hello Slicksters,
I don't have a slick anymore, but I wanted to join back up with the gang. You never know when you'll find one and bring it home. I love the new site and home to catch up on everyone projects from many years ago.

Gregg in Maine.
