You right on the money.....on lightweight specials... lightweight '64 galaxy, fairlanes, glassfibre panels with aluminium bumper bars for drag racing and ciruit racing. there is also one 64 lightweight galaxy in Oz, imported in 1965 from the states to do circuit racing.......it has come out of hiber...

Thanks Michelle, Started to doubt myself, as Ford (Alan Mann Racing ) only built the 289 versions for the 1964 monte carlo rallye version, but on checking these were done in the UK through Alan Mann Racing----backed by Ford...a bit like the Kar Kraft division associated with the (6 built)Ford Trans ...
