dumb question? maybe. changed the oil in the wifes 66 yesterday.put in the required 6 quarts and then looked at the dipstick, only up to the first d in "add" somethings not right.wife has been driving the truck for several months,adding the occasioinal quart as needed to keep it at full.so...

i have a nice battery load tester , has jumper cable clamps and a charge/load meter .must be used @ 75% charge min.. Rich is correct too, i have one of those 3 turn batterys, tests good but any more than 3 turns of the crank before starting and its drained.
