kind of like the straight axle vs twin i -beam argument. i just tend to stick with what is simple and has worked for me in the past. i spent several years playing monster mudder long ago, bought more u-joints, bearings, and suspension parts many times over.was fun but wish i had all that $ back i sp...

i have found that when some folks start a project, spend a lot of $, then lose interest for whatever reason, it is no longer important to them.as for my friend, he bought the engines so anything else was bonus items.
never heard them called dentsides, i always called them innys and the 67-72s outies.

the standard (suspension)lift was 3", the highboys had 4". a highboy with an additional 3" body lift can accomodate 40" tires with the big opening fenders.

thats a real good idea. you also could use a 3 way intake manifold water tee for an later fe intake that has the sensor then put the petcock or similar valve in that hole.old y-blocks with the heater control valve are easy to adapt a tee to as well.

as you may know, refilling the system with coolant is somewhat of an issue in the Ford engines.air is present in the lines and needs to be removed or all the required coolant cannot be added. there are a cople ways to deal with this one is the drilling of a small hole in the thermostat to allow the ...

truck does not look bad from the pics, however i think anything over $2500 is too much, especially with the existing engine.

this sounds quite interesting.hope it all can remain civil. i have a few ideas myself, unfortunately time and funds may not allow them to be complete. depends on how much extra time i have to do something original.certainly not likely to give Steve anything to worry about.
