I've been using the acetone/ATF mix for the last year or so. It's cheap and does work.
I keep it in and old squeeze bottle.
It does not mix well, tries to separate.. I shake the bottle I keep it in if it has been on the shelf awhile.

Very traditional. With a change of the background the pictures could look like they were taken 1961.

Re: '62 Unibody
Looking good Steve!
On removing the dist.
I've got them out in the past by taking a small air hammer with a pointed bit and getting the dist housing to spin.
It may a few tries, but by hammering on the outside edge of the flange down next to the intake.. I've had good luck
Randall.

Re: EZ wire or Rebel...
I used a EZ wire kit in a 64 Fairlane a few years ago. What I liked about this particular kit was, it had all black wires but still labeled every few inches. Black wires made it easier to hide. I just installed a Rebel Wire 9+3 kit in a 67 F100. It seemed to have heaver wires or thicker insulation? ...

Re: '66 F100 Custom Cab Short/Styleside Factory Correct Rest
Very nice work! ...But you already know that. :) :) Question... Would you do a post on how you grind/smooth your welds? Yours look like the don't even need any skim coat of filler. :thumright: Type of tools, grits and technique. If you have a post on this already would you please provide a link? Tha...

Please report back when you get to look it over....I may be in the market also Thanks Randall Called them and they say that the new gates are the same guage as the original (find it hard to believe but we'll see). They also say that they have almost no returns on them and that the quality has been i...

Re: Frame Swap.
Thanks for all the replies. The reason I asked, I have a 78 f100 that runs and drives great but the body is rough. The uni needs a complete suspension rebuild. I've put Mustang II kits under two street rods (dollars) and just finished a CV swap under a 67 f100. Just weighing all my options. A frame ...

Frame Swap.
Guys, I did a search and did not fine anything that gave me an answer. Maybe that should tell me something. Question: How close are the "frame to body" mounting points on say a 1978 F150 SB to the ones on a 62 f100 Unibody? Is there a thread out there where someone has done this swa...
