on second thought call carpenters and complain. Might be worth a try. They need to know, or they can't improve.

seems like a flawed design. Not the first time we've had trouble with repro stuff. I didn't know you had to soak it with water? I was thinking of going to remove mine and using it as a pattern and making my own and maybe use a thin abs plastic or something else. Even new cardboard is available in ov...

Well, thanks! I looked at those but assumed (mistake) that they weren't of the original pattern. I called 'em and your right, they are.
Thanks Again!

Rubber Floor Mat?

I've seen the repop floor mat but was wondering if anyone made an repop with the original logos and pattern for my 64? with 3 on the tree??

I bet I already know the answer, since I've been looking for a little while. :(

The 66 wasn't the only Slick there!! Check out the '64 that was there, it brought $18,700.00 !!! m Yep, Very Nice Truck. Looks to me that it has the correct front bumper - nice to see. Fellas, Looks like the hood emblem is the 'lightning bolt & gear'. Assuming the V-8 was OEM, that emblem would...

Hi Greg! Crawled under and took a looksee and the rod is adjusted all the way out. So… a tear down and rebuild is in order. The cab mounts look good, there is a gap between the collar and wheel about 3/8th"+ or-. A buddy who has a 65 also checked it and he said no cab drooping he could tell and...

Thanks guys, I'm going to look into it further and try the obvious adjustments first. Not much rust issues in this one (knock on wood) but I'll check the mount again for sure, the rubber could still be compressed, right?. good advice.

Hi Charlie!, wish this one had a Y!

223 / 3sp clutch questions

clutch (pedal) symptoms are: Clutch doesn't engage until pedal is almost all the way out. About the last inch. So…I'm the new owner of this truck (64 longbed 223/3speed on the column) and haven't replaced a clutch or adjusted one in about forty years. And frankly I haven't looked underneath yet to s...
