I chased this Slick Down yesterday......:)

Post by 64crew4x4 »

So I was out Taking a Drive in Central Oregon Yesterday Afternoon....I was following this Truck thinking it Looked Old-ish, but not being able to tell what it was from the rear...Just a big Lifted 4x4 with Diesel Stacks....

I went to pass him in the passing lanes, and About wrecked..... :steering:

Instead, I flagged him down and got some pics after chatting with him for 30mins.....

It is a 65 Crew, glued to a 77 3/4 ton Hiboy Frame and Running gear....running an 89 Cummins and 5 speed...
Averaging him 24mpg.... :notworthy:

He had a Little one sleeping in the Cab, so i didn't get interior pics....I will be soon though....Truck was done very simple and Clean....used daily as his Farm work truck....Enjoy......John....

Awesome truck. Count us in as part of the black lab contingent. Must be something in the DNA that draws slick loves and Black labs.

Sorry to hear about your loyal friend Sam there Ezer. I and my wife both dread your yesterday. I have the trifecta here too. Slick, 4wd and black lab mix Edgar. Hes 11 years old. Oh yeah nice slick crew 4x4. If we could only get these V8 gas powered slicks to do that good on milage.

Sorry to hear about your loss ezernut. I am partial to Black Labs.

Very useful truck 64crew4x4. I have driven a '96 Dodge w/Cummins for the past 15 years and occasionally think it would be nice in one of these old fords....
