More 3G Questions

I havent done anything lately. Im taking some accounting classes and the school load has been very time consuming. I am also taking a keybaording class and tying to learn to type properly. I have to type 25 wpm for 3 minutes with less than 3 total errors to pass. Its a challenge.

I have the 3G mocked up and everything wired. It will work as is but it would work better if I could reclock the alternator.

is this possible by removing the 3 bolts and spinning the back part of the case?

I so not want to screw with the brushes, Im good at taking things apart and then having a hell of a time getting them back together.

I hope you were aware that there are a pair of small holes in the alternator case, which are used along with some small welding rod or straightened out paper clips to hole the brushes in place whilst you slip the case over the armature??
