Clutch and Brake Pedal pads

Post by charliemccraney »

I see that '61-'62 and '63-'66 have different patterns in the catalogs, but are the dimensions different as well? I got one for '61-'62 but it is too wide for the pedal. It came out of a slick but I do not recall the year. The pedal looks exactly the same as the couple others I have, otherwise.

I just got some measurements and this clutch pedal is about 2 x 3 for rubber pad. All of the other clutch and brake pedals I have are about 2 1/8 x 3 1/2.

From memory, the earlier ones were the squarer ones (Bottom one in your pic) Or at least it was in my '62.

Then later ones

I ripped those pics off dennis carpenters site, although even they are confused about which fits what. They list the top one as 57-62 then the bottom one as 63-67 then the bottom one again as 61-79 under the same part number!

They are the two types that will fit your pedals.
