tranny color?
can somone tell me what colors the tranny and stuff should be on my 65??
Why fart and waste it when you can burp and taste it!

My uncle's 63 has a red (or maybe orange?) painted 3 spd. Same color as the 223. I would think that they came painted? His has never been removed I don't think...

the 4spd in my 63 was painted black
but after power washing it. it was mostly reddish primer

i was thinking it was spose to be a dark red possibly.. i think ill paint mine red.. lol

I'd go with the red; makes it easier to spot if it falls out

I didn't find any traces of paint on the case of my 65 F250's 4 speed. Just a few inspection marks. Bell housing was dark for blue.
If it's got tits or tires, You're gona have problems
