new guy, eastern washington, 66 f250

Post by hansd99 »

Hey everyone, wanted to introduce myself real quick. Just landed a 1966 F250 Camper Special, 352 w/ 4 speed manual. Got the Ford and a 72 C10 Custom from a family friend for free :D My first car was a 79 F100 Ranger, kicked myself for selling it, glad to get another one. Plan is to get the c10 running for general yard work, the Ford I want to bring back to some of its former glory. Hoping in time that it's nice enough to put in our local car parade. Needs some body work, not sure if I'll repaint or leave it as it is once dents are taken out. Want to get the drive train running strong and go from there first. Anywho, quick hello and hope to have some fun.

Welcome from Portland! Love both the trucks. What's the C10 got under the hood?

your about 4th on the list for the c10, lol. I'm glad I don't get into the chevy/ford debate, we'll see how long I keep it.

I believe it has the 350, didn't look under the hood on that one. She threw that one in as we were heading out. I'm planning on heading over on Monday to get the c10 running and diagnosis a braking issue, then go from there.

That's about as pointless as debating whether you like drinking beer when you're fishing, or drinking beer at a fish-fry.
