just getting opinions on this.. ive been practicing flaring the old brake lines, then i tried a small piece of the new line check it out. do i need more practice? it looks like it should seal. the first pic is the OE flare and my flare..

Something doesn't look right from the top. A correct double flair should have the external side of the tubing compressed into the seat of the flair.

it is folded over i just couldnt get a good pic.. i bowed it out with the fitting and then i used the point to fold it over into the double flare..

maybe your first flare wasn`t long enough, the end of the tube should be down in the flare more, not at the top as much...remember to put some fluid on it while you flare it and when you first tighten it up..

I have to say, yours are a heck of alot better than my attempts. Thats why I bought the same machine as skips, but I got it on sale for alot less as well

I bought one of the Eastwood machines and it is da bomb!!!

X2 on the eastwood unit, we just did my dads 33 coupe and it was a breeze. I used all the pre flared stuff from the auto parts store on my model a sedan and made it work but will be redoing mine with the new tool.
