A day at the junkyard

Post by Mr. Jones »

Left my house at 7:00 this morning and drove down to my favorite junk yard,276 miles round trip.
Scored four 16" 6 hole wheels with tires for $20 ea.and a front brake drum for $5.00

Stumbled upon a really straight uni
Image
Seems like the biggest complaint for these trucks is the rusted out beds, this one looked real good
Image
Even had good fenders,I'll be going back for those
Image
An old one ton and a 250 with 16"split rims
Image
Image
These three old timers seem to be reminiscing about the good old days,"Hey!Remember that time I had to.........."
Image
And this just defies all logic, feel free to commit

There are people who need to be sterilized........
That's the latest news from Kansas City

Hey are the ends of that radiator support any good? Do these guys ship? That is exactly the part I need to repair a 66 support we are trying to save!

Great yard to wander around in just to see the trucks.. I love it!

Ahh, good ole Greasy Roys!!! I try to hit that yard several times a year, in fact might head up there one day this next week. Still quite a bit of old stuff and good prices.
