Plenty of gears. 24 assuming tranny is a four speed and aux box is a 3 speed. Looks like aux box shifted in a straight line.

What size tires are those? I have the set on the f750 fire truck I have that are like new. Will be parting the truck out one of these days and someone somewhere needs these tires. 8.24 20's if I remember right.

Not stupid at all...
You won't see one of those in a pickup....
It's a 2 spd rear axle switch (for the bigger trucks)

You would not believe the ammount of people that have looked under the truck and said it does have a 2 speed in it. We were at a show and my wife had to tell a couple of guys they were wrong, they didn't believe her.
