Turn signals wont cancel

Post by 69supercj »

Is there a pin on the steering wheel that cancels the signals or what? I've got a '66 Mustang deluxe wheel on my truck and the prior wheel was an aftermarket one and I've never had canceling signals.

The mustang had a c shaped piece metal attached to the wheel that engaged a plastic cam on the steering column to self cancel. I doubt the part on the wheel is missing but the plastic cams are all broken nowadays but replaceable....

Mixing the mustang wheel with a slick column I can't really help with, but I think the horn setup is different. Someone here will chime in I'm sure.
