Do any of you slicksters out there have any thoughts on prolonging the life of the valve seats in older engines which now have to use unleaded fuels? thanks, j66b

I've never installed the hardened seats. My understanding is that with the use most older vehicles get, they never have the time to erode.

you can also use the bottles of lead substitute, and a bottle of marvel mystery oil added to a tank of gas provides upper end lubrication as well.
