'66 Taillight Stainless Bezels

Post by 69supercj »

So I got a question. You can use the 67-72 taillight lenses and housings in a 65 or 6. Can you also use the stainless trim that goes around the lenses from a 67-72 on a 65 or 6?

You can use the housing and lens ok, I've done it before. I think the 67 bezel looks different to allow for the trim that goes across the tailgate. But seeing both the lens and the tailgate from 67 will bolt up, I'm guessing the bezel will fit.

Not disputing the issue if they fit or not, but aren't all the '65/'72 taillight bezels made of aluminum - not stainless steel?
