I want to remove the stock distributor and replace it with a HEI, I see many advertised using the SIZE of the shaft, I assume it is the distributor grive shaft, does anyone KNOW for a FACT they have a distributor out of a 240 that can measure the shaft hopefully with calipers or micrometers for me? The ads says these will NOT work with a 1/4 shaft, I PREFER to NOT have to pull mine out just to find out the size then maybe I have the size that can't be replaced.
