QUESTION: Correct 9" rearend to match your Crown Vic IFS ???

Post by NUMA NEWBERN »

I recently saw this in parts for sale & hope I get a answer from seller BUT does anyone else KNOW for a FACT the answer to this???
My assumption is MATCH CV IFS means the BOLT PATTERNS & SIZE of wheel patterns are the same and what else?
ANYBODY have the year models & Ford products that MATCH this question in that I may have to look locally but DON'T know WHAT to look at as far as year & type of vehicle.
THANKS for ANY help

Not quite sure what you're asking, but here's this:

A 9" rear end out of an early '80s F100 Ford truck (F100 not F150) will give you the same bolt pattern as an 03 and newer CV front end (5 on 4 1/2) and approximately the same track width.
If you understand what you’re doing, you’re not learning anything.
