Blinker issue

Post by jeepbut »

All lights off, both blinkers work fine. Parking lights on, both blinkers work fine. Headlights on, left blinker works fine, right blinker lights up, but does not blink. Any ideas on this? Thanks, Lyman.

top choice
ground issue
headlight is grounded to back of turn sig bucket, turn sig and headlight ground are fighting each other, headlight is winning.

way down at the bottom of the list and designed to separate a $20 from your wallet

would not recommend this as it keeps costing

What iceman said. 9 times out of 10 if you have a weird electrical problem it is caused by faulty grounds.

check your bulbs, you might have a short across the filaments that would cause wierd effects.

Usually the "short" across filaments is, again, a ground issue. In trying to find a ground, the circuit attempts to ground through the common circuit. The other possibility is a mis-installed or incorrect bulb.

I have already tried the blinker fluid, but my blinker seals are bad and it all ran out on the ground. ( no pun intended)
