What are these?

Post by azjake »

Can anyone tell me what these are used for? There are two on the cab and two mounted to the rear of the bed. Are they used for tying off loads?

I think it's for just for tying off loads too. Did you get another truck?

I go for the beer bottle opener. Lets you reach out the winder and open your beer instead having to open the door while driving down the highway to open it on the door hinge.

Yeah, don't know what Ford was thinking with the placement of the factory ones. Opening a fresh one at 60 can be a sobering experience.

Jake, take from an old grain hauler, those are tarp hooks for the tie down ropes on grain trailers. There ain't no excitement like trying to capture those damned hooks with the ropes on a fifty foot tarp in a thirty mph Oklahoma wind.
