Hey guys,
Im looking for some insight on going spring under axle in the rear of my truck. I know there are perches out there I can buy for flipping the springs, but im wondering if I should use a bolt in notch kit or cut up some 5" tubing and use that as the notch.
One of the next projects I want to do is lower my rear down and put new shocks in the back. I figure it will be a small easy semi cheap project that wont be too bad. Thanks guys!

Re: spring under axle questions
What im thinking is
Perches:

bolt in c notch

Figure out shocks once its done for measuring.
Is there a better, cheaper way? Or should I go with that. Im liking that c notch since it has more face area to it than 5" dom tubing cut in half and just welded in for a notch.

Those purches look good.... I was going to try to re use the originals, but those will be the way to go.

If you are going to weld new perches in place, why not just reuse the ones on the axle? They are not difficult to get off with a cut off wheel. I would go with a weld in notch rather than a bolt in. I think it would be stronger.

Re: spring under axle questions
I was just thinking to have them on hand incase I cut my old ones and they dont come off clean.
anyone have a link for a wheld in notch that would work well? I like the patern of that notch is like compared to making my own with tubing and some plate.
