Dana 3.33 gears

Post by pm042070 »

I purchased a set of Dana 3.33 gears that supposedly came from a 1960's Dana 60 under a Dodge passenger car. Could someone tell me if these gears will swap into the Dana 60 under my 1966 F250? Any help / advice appreciated. Thanks

If somone had a know fit ring and pinion from the same axel you have, I belive they could mic pinion diameters and measure bolt centers on ring for you to compare to your 3.33s.

Dont know how accurate this is but I read on a 4x4 forum that 4.10 and higher were one housing and 4.30 and lower were the other.

I'd be VERY suspicious of those gears..... as I recall, the lowest (numerically) available for the DANA 60 was a 3.54.
I'm thinking you may be looking at a set of gears out of a DANA 60.1 or 60.2...?
