Anyone know if there is a supplier for a Door Handle Shaft Repair Kit? My '65 just stripped out another door handle. Thanks for your help.

I'd replace the whole unit. Good drivers side are a little harder to find as they are the ones that wear out.

I believe the part is interchangeable from side to side.

If the spline is damaged, which can cause the handle to strip, you can use a triangular file to repair or deburr it.

I had a window crank that was totally stripped on my chevy van. I filed it square and used one off of a model a ford. I liked it so much that I filed both of them and the door handles square and replaced all of them. I rethreaded the pin hole so I could use a tiny allen screw. Always a thought if they are really messed up.
