head light switch wiring

Post by shocker998md »

I'm working on re wiring my truck. I didn't want to use any of the old connections so I've been having to ID each post of every switch. I figured id post this up to help someone. I cant set up a better picture with letters but ill give it my best. Starting up top left to right, and on the switch it is labeled so that should help.

Image
A is the top left and its not used
D1-headlight power
D2-Dome light
P- Parking lights
H-dimmer power
B- head light power and a jumper to D1 and to the door switches
R- Tail lights
I- Dash lights

Hopefully this helps some people out. I'm using a rebel wire 9+3 and the owner is AWESOME. He's a ford guy and will help out with everything and his pricing is awesome too.

Which one is the power in connection? Looking at my switch, the largest wire was black/yellow on terminal "P" which I thought was the power feed.
Can anyone verify?
