bought some door coolers today. is there anywhere i can buy a trim ring? im short one and can somebody tell me the history of them?

Not sure of the history. As for trim rings, I dont believe anybody is mass producing these. I have seen some made out of wood which looked pretty good.

Flashback F100s can provide replacement surrounds in aluminum as opposed to the original plastic.

I think LMC, Dennis Carpenter and Drake, only sell the complete pocket and trim.. I don't think you can buy just the trim by itself. I need the trim pieces as well. The aluminum ones are gorgeous but way to expensive for me.

I made one out of a steel flat panel cover. I just out out the metal in the middle (Carefully) and painted it in chrome trim paint. 90% solution for me.
