can someone link me to a site i can decode my vin plate? or decode it for me?
If it wears make up or has wheels and a motor i want to play with it!

I'll decode it for you, if you wish.
Post the entire Warranty Plate, not just the VIN. I can give you the trim codes too.

I have the Ford parts books on CD for '58 or so to '68 or so. It doesn't have Mercury codes.

why is the valve cover odd
if it is because there are no holes on top for pvc the engine had a road draft tube originally
N is the correct np435 code for 1965
in 1966 it was changed to A and that was used 1966-1986
