The local U-Haul installed a new Class III hitch for about $150.
Did not include wiring up lights for trailers, though. I did the wiring myself.
The hitch was made for our Slicks, with one exception on my '66: One bolt hole in the hitch was obscured by a frame rivet, so they just drilled another one through the hitch and the frame, and used grade 8 bolts.

Try a salvage yard. Frame width is the same up to 72 on the trucks, so it shouldn't be to hard to adapt one if slightly different.

LMC has a bolt on receiver hitch to fit 63 - 72 model trucks.
Item number 48-1760. Black powder coated and rated to 6,000 lbs
ClassIII with a 600 lb. tongue weight. Can't get it much easier than that.
