Weird longbed uni trailer

Post by bobenhotep »

I was thinking after Brian posted the picture of his trailer he bought recently, if anyone ever cut off a truck in front of the cab and made a trailer. I was driving and not 10 minutes later I saw one! It was parked at the flea market just down the road from my house.

I went there today to see if maybe I could get the tailgate off of it. It was for sale. I ended up buying the whole thing for 500 bucks. I will have pictures shortly.

Yeah, I got it. At least the shakes went away, for now.

The tailgate is beat up but has all of the hardware and opens and closes. The bed floor is intact, and the spare tire carrier is still mounted on the front of the bed. I don't think I did too badly on this one.

That poor truck.

I'm glad you will put some of its parts to good use.

Oh my.

There's one somewhat local to me but it's cut off at the back wall of the cab, just like the one Brian posted. Never seen anything like yours before! The bed floor does look really good though.

That is what I said, I have never seen the floor intact before. I got a tailgate out of it at least. the glovebox door is good and so are the vents. there are odds and ends, and the bed is not rusted at all, so it might end up on a long bed and then I will have a short and long Argentruck.
