I am looking for a weld on panel for my tailgate for my 66 long wide. It covers the big center indention, makes it smooth looking. Done a search on the web and just can't find anyone that makes these anymore.
Any suggestions?

Re: Weld on tailgate panel
Just go to your local steel supplier and get a panel cut to size if you want a smooth gate.
Weld in short bursts and cool between welds until you can comfortably put your hand on the weld area before making another weld. I usually switch to .025 wire when doing sheetmetal.
