Does anyone know if there is suppose to be a gasket between the parking light housing and what in bolts to or is it just metal to metal? Thanks for any help.

I do believe they came with gaskets in them. The few trucks I've removed them from had ratty old gaskets that were barely there...

The trucks I've worked on were metal to metal but the amber lens to housing had remnants of a rubber type seal to keep the bulb clean and dry.

X2.

And some of the ones I have had appeared awful original. A look through the Illustration section of the parts book should answer the question definitively.

That is a new one on me! Are there two service replacement parts also? I know there are two different applications, not aware they varied year to year. Does it have to do with the bulb socket?

Paul you see the 65 bucket has a ground wire attached , then goes to a ground position usually on core support and the 66 has one stud that's used as the ground with no extra wire
