This large diameter bell / flywheel came from behind an Industrial 428 / 1U crank. I would like find a steel replacement zero ballanced flywheel or zero ballance a new Industrial 428 flywheel. I assumed these also were also used behind 1+ ton trucks?

Re: Using The Large C4TA-7505-G Bellhousing Behind A FE?
I've never had a 1ton slick but 2 tons used this setup. commonly seen on irrigation sets in western Kansas and Nebraska. I have one or 2 of those bellhousing and at least 1 of the Detroit/428 balance flywheels but have never found a use for them. I have an irrigation frame stand and have thought about using the bellhousing and flywheel to make a run stand but it could only be used to break in an FE 428 engine with the Detroit balanced flywheel. The neutral balanced flywheel might be difficult to find around here as most irrigation sets used 428 industrial engines.

A post on fordfe.com mentioned the use of a 361 medium duty flywheel.
Jim are you aware of a hydraulic master/slave cylinder set up for this bell housing?
Copied from the fe forum:
I have a flywheel from a MD 361 It would be just what you are looking for minus the fact I'm sure its cast.
I used the crank that was in the MD version to build a regular 360 FE I was considered about the differences in mounting flange but a regular 360/390 flywheel fit perfectly. It was then I noticed the difference in this particular flywheel, it is a half breed. half FE, the center mounting is the same as any FE and neutral balance, half FT basically from the mounting flange out to use the big truck clutch and starter. The input bearing in the crank had me concerned as well but after removal of that huge roller bearing a standard FE pilot bushing fit perfectly in its place. I will note that it also used the same backing plate as pictured and bellhouseing.
Also with the flywheel pictured there is a Hyd slave available to bolt directly to it. It mounts on the two small mounting ears that that hand clutch appears to be bolted to. Its a slick setup.
