Both of my 65 trucks have the holes. Has anyone ever seen them used?

I believe locations are wrong to be front/ rear engine mounting holes.

Do you mean the Clutch linkage pivot mounting holes. Driver side for most of us, and passengers side for those strange folks where they drive on the wrong side of the road .... There is also holes on both frame rails for the steering box...

I looked again with my truck assembled and both of you are right. The 330 MD timing cover engine mount fell right on line with the two front holes. I assumed the rear square hole were bell mounts.
