Wiper motor

Post by ProStreet66 »

Has anyone ever wired a wiper motor on a toggle? I have a 64 single speed motor and would like to wire it off a toggle. I can't get the park mode to work right. I know the end terminal gets 12v ignition power, center is the power to run the wipers and the other end terminal I can't figure.

I think the park feature works via a constant voltage supplied to one of the wires. There are contacts in the unit that remove the power from the motor when the park position is reached.

I seen the wire that parks them, but if the wiper coast past that spot they will start up again. There is one more wire that reverses the motor somehow and stops it in its tracks.
