so I am planning to pull my c4 out soon to put in a front pump seal. though about doing a shift kit does anyone know of a good shift kit to use and do you have a part number? it is worth putting a kit in it?

I put a transgow?? shift kit in the c4 in my 289 mustang. To be honest I wouldn't bother doing it again but thats my preference. I recall it didn't cost much.
It definitely firmed up the shifts, but then again it doesn't make enough power to really NEED a firm shift (factory A code.) I found it worked exactly as it was meant to, but really for the car and my driving style just made firmer (jerkier?!) shifts.
I'm sure others may have different opinions, but given a slick that probably isn't going to tear your face off power wise, I'd save your money. :2cents:

good to know thank you. yeah I am not building a racer just a cruiser nothing fancy. I have a 302 in it.
