Seriouslythinking about installing the late 80s XLT seat

Post by 66camperspecial »

My back has been hurting much more this year and I seem to be more comfortable in those late 80s and newer seats then I do with the 68 seat that is in my 66 right now, since I do still have the gas tank in the cab will I have any issues on installing that seat. It might be a few months before it actually happens since I need to reupholster the XLT seat and will have to find material that matches.

All you have to do is exchange the mounting brackets since the floorboards are different.

I am going to reupholster the seat first, now if I can find some blue vinyl that matches the interior and the inserts are going to be black to match the dash pad.
