Two questions!

Post by robertrpeak »

1: I have 2" blocks between the axle and the leafs, so When shiming the front axle for caster do the shims go on top of the block or the bottom?

2: My radiator core support has no rubber between it and the frame, how thick should the rubber be?

Thanks

You really shouldn't have blocks between your axle & leafs on the front.....
But ... I have done it and had no problems...
Keep the blocks straight with your leafs
So put the shims under the blocks , next to the axle

Thanks kipp....
Anyone want to take a guess at the support rubber thickness? Guess I'll just wing it.
