ANOTHER One of those E-bayer crooks

Post by 6166 Junkyard Dog »

Crook might be a little harsh,, BUT anyway.
First truck is very nice, do not want to take away from the hard work in this truck,, nice looking But after what I saw it is by far not worth 20,000 $$$$

Now lets see how fast somebody else can pick it up on what I have discovered

I just hope nobody on here bites on it or the person that has read this post then retracts it since 20,000 +++ more $$$ would be a waste of $$$$$$

I will also see how fast the seller responds,, if no response then I know he is a real crook........

I'd say it didn't have a title and they used a f 250 title. Or its a 3/4 ton converted to 1/2 ton. As far as condition issues I didn't see any but I did not look that closely.

Or they accidentally called it a F100 and not an F250.

I saw this on eBay yesterday and thought it was a nice looking truck but didn't put too much into the title on the page. I wonder what the frame vin is.

Looks like we have several winners,, I am not taking any thing away from the truck,, very nice, well detailed,, But C"mon,, for a reserve not met at 20,000 that title better be 20,000 +++ reasons it better be right,, if not We cannot bring into our state like many other states are doing now

will wait   and see how he responds to my ? about the title :?:

I would like an explanation on the title as well....However there is a difference between those wanting to build opposed to those wanting to buy...
Keeping in mind that this is a commercial seller, If the truck were a Brand X with this level of detail I think it would sell for way more
than 20 K, so I see no reason to think it is worth less because its a Ford.
I see some trucks in our group worth a whole lot more if not + double that price. In the end it will be worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it

HERE Is my issue,, ASK Yourself say you lay out 25,000 buy the truck,, year later at a show and BOOM the original owner comes by or better yet goes in a inspection and then CHP or any other state takes the truck in as a stolen vehicle,, I have seen vehicles show up years later and then given back to original owner I would be :cussing: or pi$$ at somebody and that's my point is to spend that much money for a truck and not be right ,, like buying a Fake Mercury Truck, Fake S/S Chevelle and etc...

Looks to me as if, as a dealer, he be flirting with trouble; and, no, it's not simply a misstatement. It is NOT a 129" wheelbase F250, so, if titled as such, it is bogus, unless frame has been shortened, and then the value just plummeted! It translates to a 300 six with four speed manual and 4.10 gears, so much for the ultra-low mileage! Positive side is that in most states, he would be required to "make it right", or risk his license!

maybe sometime during the last 50 years the drivers door was replaced with an F250 door, and the dealer, or his lot boy who probably gets stuck taking pics and entering info for eBay listings just entered the VIN from the door tag when listing it and not the one on the title??? someone who really wants answers could call him, the number was in the ebay listing....(541)-554-4022

I am about an hour north of the builder and the lot where it is being sold. My friend has a truck by the same builder about 5 years post restore. The builder used to diamond plate the inside of the bed. Workmanship was good but not $20,000. His vin matched.

LOOKS Like it was taken off,,, No reason given unless somebody bought it out right and then they are getting a shaft or found out the truck is not on then up and up,, In our case every truck brought in, We register with Wash. D.C. and NC Theft Bureau to be sure nothing funny with title or vin # and that would pi$$ somebody off it came back the Vin # was stolen or the truck was sent to be crushed and title/vin# to be destroyed,, Still the seller has no respect to answer our ?'s we sent or any body elses ?'s
