What are these?

Post by 9Fingers »

I decided to remove the tank and go ahead and pull the cab off for frame work and drive line reinstallation ease. After I pulled the gas tank out, I noticed trash at the lower portion of the cab in the corners and behind the tank area. I found three metal pieces. I can see that two are for covering an access hole in the upper kick panel on each side of the cab. The one piece that is different, however, I can't seem to remember seeing anything like it. Photos below. Thanks in advance.

They are door hinge cover plates and the access hole covers for your fender bolts.

I should have read your comment instead of posting what you already knew...
You should see rectangular holes in each kick panel above the vents and toward the door frame.

Thanks again MN66! I found them hiding behind the custom cab inserts on the door after you told me what they are.
