I'm looking into monoleafs for my '61 Uni. Just curious if any of you are running them and what your thoughts are. Also, did you have to C notch your frame? Move your steering box? any info would be great! I'm not looking to lay the truck out, just bring her down to a tasteful stance like in this pic
According to the owner of that pic, he just removed leafs, but I worry about the safety and ride quality in doing that.
Thanks in advance!

I Really Like Mine. If Your Not Planning On Hauling Anything They Are Great. Easy Bolt-On And No C-Notching. Check Alignment, Replace King-Pins & Tie Rod Ends If Needed And I Used The Button Style Bump Stops For Added Clearance. Good-Luck!...........

Re: Anyone running monoleafs?
Monoleafs are available for different drops. About 3" is the most you can drop it without significant modification to the frame. Even at 3", you will have to relocate or extend the rear shock brackets to correct the shock geometry. With a 3" drop, the shocks are more horizontal than vertical and that significantly affects the function of the shock.
This is about 3" front and rear:
I made shock relocation brackets. This is a '68 axle housing, which requires that those brackets have an offset built in so that the shock clears the frame rail. The '61 housing is different so you will not be able to use this style of bracket but it gives you an idea about what will be required.
