What a great story Steve! I have done some wild goose
chases like that myself on occasion. People who post junk
like that piss me off! Then sit there and lie about how
good the stuff is when it is trash! Just can't believe what
an ad says when it sounds too good to be true.
You braved a lot of strikes against you to go that far to
find a so called bargain that turned out to be a bust.
Sucks when that happens. Even more when you almost
wreck you equipment and yourself! Glad you got through
it ok. Hope your fender turns up! Also sucks having to
buy another one and to have to pay a tow truck to pull you
just a few feet for $130. bucks! If you make another trip
you might want to have # 1,2 & 3 along just in case, eh?!
