Points and Plugs Gap

Post by jeepbut »

What is the gap for points and plugs for 1966 352? I thought 17 and 35, but just don't remember.

My book shows .017 point gap (or 26-31* dwell angle) and .034 plug gap.

IF you are using a hotter coil than stock, you can open the gap up on the plugs.

My 65 Ford manual says .014 to .016 which translates to 27* dwell.

Indeed it is Lyman. It was 20 degrees in Smithville last night. I know you guys would love to have 20* nights up north but here is Texas that is cold.
