Inside my glove box the rivets are there for a warranty plate like on the earlier trucks. Is there supposed to be any stickers or anything there on the later models!
There was an insurance sticker on mine by the photo above.
Since I bought a replacement door warranty plate- I considered mounting my old one in the glove box. Just a though.
Was curious if there is anything in there since the plate got moved in 62-63.

I believe that since all trucks used the same glovebox door, once Ford started putting the VIN tag on the door, they just continued using the glovebox door and added rivets to plug the holes.
