Someone installed the door handles upside down. Pretty nice truck though. I like it.

Very nice truck. Curious what it will go for.
Glad I bought my Slick a few years ago. The prices seem to be going up. Looking on CL yesterday and couldn't locate any below $3500 and several of those didn't even run!

I gotcha Michelle, I didn't even see that. BUT, what really gets me, and I've seen so many do it (hope I don't make anyone mad, but it just looks SO wrong), he also has his bed moldings on the wrong sides. I mean they have a curved end that matches the curvature of the body itself. It's a small thing but....oh well, it's not MY truck. People might not like things I did on mine either. SO, I'll just ZIP-IT.

I actually put my arm rests on that way to balance out the wear between driver and passenger side.

I like the jack mounted on the right inner fender. Any thoughts on where it came from.

most likely an import jack... in the 70's (73-79) ford installed a bottle jack on the drivers fender apron with the handle mounted on the core support. if you can find them, they look right at home in a slicklongcabjohn wrote:I like the jack mounted on the right inner fender. FYI, when I bought my truck USED of course, it had one of those jacks and handles with it thrown in the bed.Bill W wrote:most likely an import jack... in the 70's (73-79) ford installed a bottle jack on the drivers fender apron with the handle mounted on the core support. if you can find them, they look right at home in a slicklongcabjohn wrote:I like the jack mounted on the right inner fender. It's not a bottle hydraulic jack though, it's a screw jack that looks like a bottle.
Is this what FORD supplied? I honestly don't know. It might show it in the dealer catalog Keith that has?

Looking at the side photos, you can see the bed mouldings are on the wrong side. If this kind of work shows, wonder what is under that paint.
