Steering linkage

Post by Blackwaterforge »

I am adding power steering to my 66 F250.
Several years ago I added disc brakes.
I used a complete front end from a 73 F250.
I have swapped in the shorter steering column shaft and the plate that holds the column st the firewall.
I ordered a steering gearbox from redheads. I have the correct pitman arm and rag joint.
My question is the steering linkage different?
Thank you!
If it cain't be fixed with a sledge hammer it must be an electrical problem!

I seem to recall a sticky article on the Fordification that compared the steering linkages. I've done the same swap on my 66 - it came from a 78 F250 and they were different.
