"THE SHADOW" master of stealth !

Post by 8clt »

"The Shadow"
does he still live on here,
Walter.B.Gibson, his creator in 1930, gave us a The Detective," master of stealth" and gave him "the ability to make himself nearly invisible to others"

Lets retrace the link of "Kustom Headliner Kit's" by the Shadow 24July 2016.....
A superb creation , the shadow did think outside the square and his brilliance and application, is not be be denied.

But, Bugger me, has he passed on, left this group.........????

As online here and by pm.... not response to a convict, from the Penal Colony, down under to palm his hand with some coins for just 3 units...

No response to these inquires as at the 5th Feb 2017 and even now.
So if a Fellow Slickster can check to see if he has not left the building..... please lets us know.

More than likely life got in the way... he has been waiting for an early roof style pattern for some time. Like a lot of others he might be over on facebook rather than here.

I hope Dana is still around - I'm finally ready to start working on my interior and really liked his headliner.

Corey,
where does one look on Facebook to find the "SHADOW-The Master of Stealth, and bloody brilliant ideas".
As I can not stall the shipment of the slick for too much longer, chasing another cv front to slow things down.

Hmm, not sure if he's on the Slick 60s FB site. I'll do a search when I'm back at my computer.

Heellooo Leeroy,

Now that's an idea, rear steering for those narrow sleazy lane ways near Lygon Street...
Any suggestions on the steering arms to the rear, and fully float turning axles at the rear !!!! maybe electric hydraulic like the low loader floats/drop deck trailers....

You High Flyin... Mexicans slicksters need left hand drive, as they are coming with power rack n pinion, as us, older wiser convicts, north of the border need comfort and ease of steering, to ensure we can steer it in the right direction... reversing is another matter though.
The guy whom purchased my old Marlin blue 65 ranger would like one also , and one for Ron....

So how have the side slips going in all this weather and wet wet tarmacs...
Have you been working the F1 crowds lately... and tomorrow.. Monday 27th...
