Hello all,

I'm looking for some replacement front leaf springs for my '61 F100 4x4. Does anyone happen to have the stock dimensions and capacity? Nobody seems to reproduce them, at least from what I've seen online. I've also added about 300lbs to the front end with an engine swap. Would new factory capacity springs be up to the added weight?

Are your original springs in decent shape ?

If you just want to add a small amount of lift
You can just add a single helper leaf spring
Just have to take apart your leaf pack
(Good time to clean em up )
Put in a helper & bolt them back in

Here is what I'm talking about....

You will have to find the correct width & length you want

I put one in my 61 4x4 10 years ago ... no problems !

National Parts Depot sells Eaton springs. I bought a set for my 63 since my were toasted and a spring shop was just as expensive to make a set or resend mine. They are a bit expensive but I was happy with the product.

Currently not in stock but call them and they may have it to you quickly. That’s what happened with mine.

Have you talked to a local spring shop? Here if you bring them the dimensions they can make up a spring for you.
