All good here. Made it home about 3 ish.. Even took the truck out for a spin (to pickup Lefty's and my Parts from the Houston crew) and found that the battery is about dead joy...

I made it home by a quarter til 12 noon. Posted it but just wanted to say how much of a good time I had meeting all of you.
Caught up with the Houston, Texas crew just past the Oklahoma line and ran with them for a while. Never could catch PFM, he had his Mazda wound up. I'm already working on my Mrs. about her going with me to
SS4. Might take me that long to talk her in to it. Lol! TR

Yep, I made it home too. All 1.4 miles...

Was a almost a little depressing that I couldn't drive up to the Howard Johnson today and find you all there........

I am stateing with little room for error that I will be in Iowa 2 years from now!!!!!

It was a real pleaure to meet so many fine honest folks. Makes me happy, joyful honestly, to know that there are reasonable, decent people out there that can just be happy with a simple thing in life like an old truck. Way too much value these days on all the other stuff........

Made it back yesterday at 5 PM plane was a little late getting out of Dallas.

Safe and sound and sawing wood on the couch by 7 PM...

As a three timer it is great to meet up with the old friends and make new ones.

Finally made it. Ezernut, Alan, and Ice drove me to the airport Sunday afternoon after a quick beer. Thanks again for that. Stood in line for 15 minutes to check in at the airport only to find out that my plane was delayed and I was going to miss my connecting flight. You should have seen the looks on Alan's and Brian's face when I showed up back at the hotel. Anyway all went well, made it home safe a date late and we are heading out in the morning for the Oregon coast. It was surreal to see my family greet me at the airport. I sure missed them. Mrs. Hoof will be riding shotgun to Iowa. Already got my sticker on the glove box!

Anyway, thanks to Gerry and the whole gang! It was just awesome to meet all the friends that I already knew. 8) Let's keep that ticker off for at least a few weeks :rotflmao:
